Disposable nappies should be placed in your bag or bin for non-recyclable waste.
Absorbent Hygiene Products
Some local councils in Wales offer an Absorbent Hygiene Products (AHP) collection for disposable nappies and incontinence pads. Check if your local council offers this service here.
If your local council doesn’t currently offer this service, disposable nappies should be placed in your bag or bin for non-recyclable waste.
Feminine hygiene products are not included in AHP collections and should also be placed in your bag or bin for non-recyclable waste.
Good to know
If you use cloth nappies (also known as 'real nappies') this can help protect the environment and can save you money in the long run.
